1. Porter and Transport Management: • Coordinate bookings and manage porters, drivers, and labour teams for deliveries and pick-ups. • Communicate clear job instructions and resolve any transport-related issues promptly. • Maintain a daily record of porter activities, transport schedules, and discrepancies. 2. Petty Cash & Online Payments: • Handle daily petty cash and online wallet-based transactions (e.g., UPI). • Maintain real-time records of all cash flow in coordination with accounts. • Ensure end-of-day reconciliation and zero cash discrepancies. 3. Reception & Visitor Management: • Greet and assist all visitors and walk-in customers professionally. • Offer seating, basic hospitality, and direct them to the concerned department. • Guide visitors clearly to the office/store location over phone or chat using landmarks or maps. Should be smart, communicative, and confident in helping people reach the location smoothly. • Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming. 4. Retail Customer Handling & First Floor Store Management: • Guide walk-in customers, assist with queries, and support retail deal closures. • Help first-time customers or transporters in finding the store using Google Maps or local references. • Maintain store floor organization, stock display, and overall cleanliness. • Monitor inventory movement and provide feedback on fast/slow-moving items. 5. Documentation & LR Entry Management: • Enter LR (Lorry Receipt) details accurately in Tally. • Attach LRs to invoices and organize all paperwork for easy retrieval. • Maintain a physical and digital filing system in sync with operational needs. 6. Goods Inward & Delivery Coordination: • Coordinate with transporters for delivery and inward movement of goods. • Arrange coolies/unloading labour as needed and supervise the unloading process. • Ensure delivery dispatches are completed on time and inward goods are recorded.
