As an Engineering professional specializing in HC and B&T systems for MSS, your primary responsibility will be to design systems skid, Metering panel or system panel. You will be tasked with creating detailed technical solutions for specific customer applications related to gas, liquid fiscal and custody transfer, blending, and truck loading applications. It will be crucial for you to adhere to departmental and PMO processes, ensuring timely delivery of technically sound designs that meet Emerson quality standards as per VDRL agreed with the customer. Your role will involve activities such as meter sizing and selection, preparation of data sheets for instruments and associated electrical components, specifying all purchased and fabricated components required for solutions, and collaborating closely with vendors and procurement teams. Engaging with customers will also be a key aspect, which includes participation in customer discussions, addressing customer queries, and resolving any deviations from specifications. Effective communication with customers and suppliers for all technical matters, including managing customer drawing comments and feedback, will be essential. Additionally, you will be responsible for performing Pre-FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), and SAT (Site Acceptance Test) with customer/site travel involved. To excel in this role, you are expected to demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving, innovative thinking, and a willingness to learn from mistakes. Clear and concise communication, active listening, and market assessment skills will be valuable assets in fulfilling your responsibilities. For this position, a minimum qualification of a Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering with a minimum of 4-5 years of experience is required. Preferred qualifications that would set you apart include expertise in Instrumentation and Process Engineering, various instrumentation applications, panel design, marshaling, as well as knowledge of hazardous area classification and applications for international installations.
