As a NoSQL DB Admin, you will be responsible for leveraging your 6 to 10 years of relevant experience to excel in Marklogic database development. Your expertise in the Marklogic ecosystem will be put to good use as you design, develop, and implement solutions to efficiently store, manage, and retrieve data. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will craft appropriate data models that meet the organization's data requirements. Your role will also involve ensuring the performance, security, and scalability of the Marklogic database. You will have hands-on experience in developing Rest APIs using JavaScript and troubleshooting any issues related to data integration and system performance. By closely working with stakeholders, you will translate business needs into technical solutions, showcasing your strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with effective communication. Staying updated on industry trends related to Marklogic and data engineering will be crucial, as well as having familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployments. Additionally, the job may require you to work as a Marklogic DB Developer, where a strong knowledge in one tech stack with basic exposure in the other is acceptable, or a willingness to learn. Your expertise in NoSQL databases will be essential in creating efficient DB structures, working on scheduled jobs for data movements, creating APIs, and tuning performance. Experience in handling large amounts of data, conversions, and processing is preferred. Proficiency in JavaScript for creating rest-based APIs using Marklogic and experience in data extract, transform, and load (ETL) will be advantageous.
