Job Description

The International Acquisition Marketing Manager (Indian Subcontinent Focus) is responsible for international acquisition execution and implementation for cross-functional top of funnel advertisement, with clear focus on awareness, engagement, and conversion. Theyll manage implementation, analysis, and iterative strategy around international placements across SEO, SEM (Paid Search), and Paid Social. In short, this role is for an international innovator that is looking to apply their knowledge and scale an international product . Someone that has experience with paid and organic advertising in the Indian Subcontinent, who knows how to grow digital footprint in new markets, and create efficiency in ones with proven customer interest. This individual should be constantly in search of new market growth opportunities, looking to lead international digital strategy and advertising platform management in partnership with leadership, and other marketing and cross-functional partners. This individual must be prepared to test, learn, and adapt to the global market, with our customers and products at the center of their focus.

The International Acquisition Marketing Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and continuously improving international paid and organic acquisition marketing programs that support customer acquisition and growth. As International Acquisition Marketing Manager, you’ll contribute to the development and iteration of our international reporting, measurement, and process frameworks. You’ll utilize international macro and micro analysis to support recommendations to marketing leadership to support growth and efficiency, given the current outlook of market-based trends.

The International Acquisition Marketing Manager will effectively communicate to stakeholders, and execute subsequent strategies with internal and external partners, holding responsibility for scaling the international marketplace as part of our acquisition initiatives and digital marketing campaigns.

Essential Functions

  • Execute, measure, and optimize marketing programs that build brand awareness, drive lead acquisition, and brand growth through SEO, Paid Social and Paid Search in the India market.
  • Manage the process behind international y customer acquisition, strategizing between landing pages, copy, creative, and platform placements.
  • Drive strategy and maintain performance to goal for international acquisition channels - SEO, SEM, Social, and Display
  • Manage day-to-day paid acquisition initiatives within SEM and Display - creating, optimizing, and managing international paid search initiatives alongside internal stakeholders and external partners (paid search agency).
  • Collaborate with Creative, Campaigns, and CRO teams in order to create messaging and user experiences that reflect the Articulate product’s excellence to potential customers and emerging persona markets.
  • Partner with the marketing analytics team to create reporting that measures the performance of affiliate marketing programs.
  • Report on performance of paid acquisition strategies, deriving insights from analysis of data, and make recommendations on areas for testing and optimization
  • Manage the communication of paid acquisition performance with a data-driven mindset.
  • Proactively communicate with peers and leadership on plans, progress, and problems

Qualifications/Skills

  • 8+ years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing, with proven success in multimedia acquisition for the India market
  • 5 years of experience working with a US based company, operating data-driven acquisition for the India market 5 years experience building and executing SEO strategy for global institutions, specifically within India
  • 5 years experience executing, optimizing, producing results, and communicating strategy across SEM and Display campaigns on Google and Bing, Social Campaigns across Facebook and LinkedIn, and their integration to other areas of marketing.
  • Experience developing strategy, analyzing performance, and executing against international Search Engine Marketing programs
  • Ability to work directly with strategists and managers in the United States and India, developing strategy directly with counterparts
  • Strong communication skills, with ability to attend meetings and create influence across multiple stakeholders
  • Familiarity with core digital marketing tools and platforms such as Google Ads Manager, Microsoft Ads Manager, Google Tag Manager, etc.
  • Strong analytical skills and an interest in reporting and data analysis
  • Comfortable working with analytics platforms such as Tableau, Mixpanel, Google Analytics and Looker
  • English fluency required
  • Occasional travel may be required to support events or attend meetings

  • Four-year college degree or equivalent experience
