Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Digital Presence & Website Management:

  • Manage and update the

    Gulf Infotech website

    , ensuring content is current, relevant, and error-free.
  • Execute

    SEO (Search Engine Optimization)

    strategies to improve website ranking.
  • Implement

    AEO (AI Engine Optimization)

    tactics to ensure our brand is visible on AI platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini & other AI platforms.
  • Monitor website analytics (Google Analytics) to track traffic and performance.

2. Social Media & Content Strategy:

  • Manage the end-to-end Social Media presence (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram).
  • Plan and create an engaging content calendar (posts, graphics, and captions).
  • Create basic graphics using tools like Canva to support social posts.
  • Use

    Generative AI tools

    to brainstorm ideas, draft content, and streamline workflows.

3. Event & Vendor Management:

  • Organize and manage marketing webinars and virtual events remotely.
  • Coordinate directly with

    Global Vendors & Distributors

    to align on event schedules and deliverables.
  • Manage

    Market Development Funds (MDF)

    and vendor rebates; ensure claims are filed and funds are utilized effectively.
  • Handle follow-ups regarding marketing budgets and reimbursements.

4. Planning & Strategy:

  • Assist in creating the

    Annual Marketing Plan

    and ensure all activities are executed on time.
  • Manage the content strategy across all digital channels to ensure a unified brand voice.
  • Assist in Email Marketing campaigns to announce webinars or new product launches.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Freshers are welcome

Skills & Mindset:

  • Tech-Savvy:

    Comfortable learning new software and using

    AI tools

    (ChatGPT, Gemini, Midjourney, etc.) for productivity.
  • Communication:

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills (crucial for speaking with vendors).
  • Organizational Skills:

    Ability to handle multiple tasks (e.g., tracking a rebate while planning a webinar).
  • Eagerness to Learn:

    Since this is a generalist role, you must be willing to learn everything from SEO to Budget Management.

Bonus Points (Not Mandatory, but Good to Have):

  • Basic understanding of HTML/WordPress.
  • Knowledge of Canva or basic design tools.
  • Understanding of how IT Distributors/Resellers operate.
