Job Description

Job Title: Market Research & Consumer Behaviour Trainer(MYSORE)

The Market Research & Consumer Behaviour Trainer is responsible for delivering comprehensive training to students on research methods, consumer insights, market analysis, and decision-making processes. The trainer will equip learners with practical knowledge and industry-relevant skills to understand consumer needs, analyze market trends, and apply research techniques in real-world business scenarios.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct engaging training sessions on market research principles, consumer behaviour theories, and industry practices.
  • Teach students research methodologies—qualitative, quantitative, primary research, secondary research, surveys, interviews, focus groups, data interpretation, etc.
  • Guide learners in understanding consumer psychology, buying patterns, motivation, perception, attitudes, and cultural influences.
  • Explain market segmentation, targeting, positioning, and competitive analysis.
  • Train students to use research tools and platforms (Google Forms, SurveyMonkey, Excel, SPSS, Power BI, etc.).
  • Organize hands-on activities such as case studies, market surveys, field research, and consumer analysis projects.
  • Evaluate student assignments and provide constructive feedback.
  • Prepare training materials, worksheets, presentations, and project guidelines.
  • Stay updated with market trends, consumer insights, and digital marketing research techniques.
  • Mentor students in applying research outcomes to real business problems and strategic decisions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Psychology, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience in market research, consumer insights, or marketing analytics.
  • Teaching, training, or corporate coaching experience preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of market research methodologies and consumer behaviour concepts.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with data-analysis tools (Excel, SPSS, Power BI, Google Analytics—optional).
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts for students at different learning levels.
  • Strong organizational, mentoring, and project-management abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for teaching.

Work Environment

  • Classroom, computer lab, or OFFLINE training sessions.
  • May involve supervising fieldwork, surveys, and research assignments.
