As a member of the Security Services Team at Fiduciary Trust International, you will be responsible for providing operations support to the Global Markets Business. This includes handling back office and middle office operations related to securities, derivatives, futures, options, and currencies. Your key functions will involve Trade Settlements, Inventory Management, Asset Services, Collateral Management, and Reconciliation. Within the Settlements Teams, your primary responsibilities will include trade confirmation, settlement, fails monitoring, and communication with brokers, custodians, front office, and other internal departments to ensure timely settlement. You will be expected to work at a high level of competence within agreed protocols and with clearly defined lines of accountability for the assigned work. Your day-to-day tasks will involve a good understanding of Trade confirmation and Settlements across Equity, Fixed Income & Foreign Exchange. You will need to possess basic knowledge of the trade life cycle, an understanding of different types of Corporate Actions events and their impacts, and ensure transactions are processed on a timely basis. Additionally, you will be responsible for working on unmatched trades, processing Free Deliver and Free Receives transactions, managing cash balances and positions reconciliation, and resolving breaks promptly. To be successful in this role, ideal qualifications, skills, and experience would include a Masters degree in business administration, Commerce, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Financial Services experience, especially in trade settlement, is required, along with 1-2 years of related experience. This position is at the Individual Contributor level with work shift timings from 6:30 PM to 3:30 AM IST.
