Marker Fitter

Job Description: As a Market Fitter at TRU TOOLS located in Paalan Industrial Estate, Maheshtala, Kolkata-141, you will be responsible for utilizing your strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in fitting, installation, and minor fabrication jobs. Your role will require you to be reliable, skilled in tools handling, and willing to travel locally to markets, client sites, or production locations for installations and fit-outs. Your key responsibilities will include assembling and fitting mechanical parts such as fans, ducts, impellers, chutes, etc., interpreting technical drawings, and installing products on-site. You will also be required to visit client sites for market fittings, measurements, and adjustments, conduct basic welding, drilling, and grinding tasks when necessary, ensure proper functioning after installation, and address on-site corrections. Additionally, you will need to coordinate with the supervisor and fabrication team for job completion and maintain tools while ensuring safety standards during fieldwork. To qualify for this role, you should have prior experience in industrial/market fitting work, preferably a minimum of 12 years. You must possess the ability to read and understand basic mechanical drawings, be familiar with hand tools and basic machines, physically fit, and willing to work outdoors/on-site. A valid driving license, preferably with your own bike for mobility, is required. Moreover, you should be capable of working independently and managing site responsibilities effectively. Preferred but not mandatory qualifications include experience in fan, duct, or heavy fabrication industries, as well as basic welding or fabrication knowledge. This is a full-time position with the possibility of internships or contractual/temporary roles. A willingness to travel 100% of the time is preferred, and the work location is in person.
