The incumbent is responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring continuous improvement in line performance. Key Responsibilities: Lead projects to design and implement manufacturing processes that align with safety, quality, and business objectives. Develop and improve manufacturing processes for Connecting Rod manufacturing lines, including tooling and cycle time enhancements. Oversee equipment selection, Design Approval Process (DAP), specification finalization, trials, and commissioning. Manage the PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) for equipment and line commissioning. Enhance plant layout and material flow for efficiency and productivity improvements. Ensure timely CAPEx and cash flow management to align with project timelines. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Analyze and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), providing on-site solutions and enhancements. Facilitate communication with site operations, Manufacturing Engineering (ME), Quality, and supplier teams. Track and document project milestones to ensure successful completion of New Business Startup (NBS) projects. Conduct supplier capacity mapping and create end-to-end Value Stream Mapping (VSM) for new lines. Support the implementation of IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) and Industry 4.0 technologies for new manufacturing lines. Apply continuous improvement tools and methodologies to enhance manufacturing processes and equipment. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align project objectives and deliverables. Coach and mentor team members while maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
