Job Description: We are hiring a dynamic and experienced PPC Manager to lead and optimize our Production Planning and Control activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end production planning, ensuring effective utilization of resources, and timely order fulfillment while maintaining inventory accuracy. Key Responsibilities: Develop and oversee master production schedules based on customer demand and forecasts Lead a team of PPC executives and ensure daily/weekly/monthly plans are aligned with business goals Monitor production workflows and ensure alignment with plant capacity and material availability Coordinate with Sales, Purchase, Stores, Production, and Dispatch departments for seamless operations Analyze material requirements and manage inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess stock Review customer schedules and production performance regularly; take corrective actions as needed Implement lean manufacturing practices to improve efficiency and reduce waste Optimize ERP system usage for planning, tracking, and reporting production performance Ensure on-time delivery, quality compliance, and customer satisfaction Generate and analyze PPC-related reports (OTIF, WIP, Capacity Utilization, etc.) Desired Candidate Profile: B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical, or Production Engineering 6 to 12years of experience in PPC , preferably in the wiring harness or automotive manufacturing sector Strong leadership and team management skills Proficient in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/custom) and MS Excel Good understanding of supply chain, inventory management, and just-in-time principles Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills Experience in lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives is an added advantage
