As an experienced professional with a minimum of 12 years in the field, you will be responsible for designing and developing new concepts for designer bags, trolley bags, and other non-apparel items. Using design software like AutoCAD and Photoshop, you will create technical drawings and renderings to bring your ideas to life. Your role will involve researching current market trends, analyzing competitor products, and understanding consumer preferences to ensure your designs are innovative and appealing. In addition to design development, you will be tasked with selecting appropriate materials for product construction, considering factors such as durability, aesthetics, and cost. You will collaborate with suppliers to source materials, ensuring quality and timely delivery. Testing materials to meet design specifications and performance requirements will also be part of your responsibilities. Collaborating with manufacturing teams, you will work on developing and refining production processes. Providing technical specifications and instructions to manufacturers, you will ensure quality control and timely delivery of products. You will inspect finished products to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards, addressing any defects or issues that may arise during production. Conducting tests to evaluate product performance and durability will be essential to ensure high-quality standards are maintained. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule that requires you to work in person at the designated work location.,
