Manual Testing QA

The ideal candidate for the position should have 2-4 years of experience and be an expert in manual QA with a focus on debugging and system understanding. You should be adept at independently tracing bugs, thinking critically, and writing simple scripts to aid in testing, logging, and internal tooling. Additionally, you must possess excellent communication skills and work effectively with engineering and product teams in a fast-paced, low-documentation environment. Your key responsibilities will include creating test plans based on real-world user scenarios and edge cases, executing functional, usability, and performance tests on both the frontend and backend. You will need to focus on manual testing while also incorporating strategic and scenario-based approaches, rather than checklist testing. In terms of issue reproduction and debugging, you will be required to recreate field bugs, analyze logs, and identify the source of issues. A deep debugging skillset is essential, along with the ability to think like a developer by performing logic tracing and root cause analysis. Collaboration with engineers to find and fix issues, prioritizing bugs based on impact, and actively participating in the development and release lifecycle are crucial aspects of the role. You will also be responsible for summarizing findings, contributing to dashboards, and assisting in issue triage, which will necessitate strong communication and analytical documentation skills. Furthermore, maintaining test environments, mocks, and secrets, applying shift-left testing, and contributing to the improvement of QA processes are essential components of the position. Nice to have skills include familiarity with LLM (Low-code) tools, scripting for log/metric parsing or internal tooling, and statistical analysis for tasks such as performance testing or issue tracking.,
