As a Manual Tester / QA Engineer at Cogniter Technologies, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, bug-free solutions by analyzing requirements, designing and executing test cases, and collaborating with project managers, developers, and stakeholders for successful project outcomes. Key Responsibilities: - Review and analyze project requirement documents to ensure accuracy and completeness - Collaborate with Project Managers and Developers to define scope and testing requirements - Design, document, and execute detailed test cases and scenarios - Track client feedback and ensure timely implementation of changes - Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing - Report, document, and track bugs/issues using bug-tracking tools - Validate reports prepared by junior testers and provide guidance as needed - Manage multiple assignments efficiently while meeting deadlines - Follow and enhance QA processes to support continuous improvement Required Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field - 25 years of proven experience as a Manual Tester / QA Engineer - Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and QA processes - Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and bug reports - Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Bugzilla) - Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills - Ability to manage multiple projects effectively - Knowledge of basic SQL queries for data validation (preferred) If you have the required qualifications and experience, send your updated resume to hr@cogniter.com with the subject line: Application for Manual Tester / QA Engineer [Your Name].
