Manual Tester

As a Manual Tester with expertise in Capital Market and Investment Domain, your role will involve: - Creating appropriate test scenarios and test cases based on business use cases and functional specifications. Ensuring coverage of boundary/edge conditions, negative scenarios, etc. - Generating suitable test data for the scenarios. - Collaborating with business analysts for review and validation of test scenarios, cases, and test data. - Working with the Testing Project Manager to develop test plans and provide time estimates for planning and execution. - Executing test plans as per the agreed schedule. - Monitoring and resolving issues by coordinating with project managers, development teams, and stakeholders. - Participating in project health check reviews with relevant stakeholders. - Adhering to Nomura standard test document templates and methodology. - Supporting program management team in project governance by providing regular updates and necessary presentations. - Tracking project progress to meet milestones and timelines, following the escalation matrix when required. - Being open to working in the EMEA shift and willing to travel. Qualifications Required: - 4-8 years of experience in testing, preferably in the Financial industry with exposure to Asset Management domain. - Experience in testing for large system migration projects is advantageous. - Proficiency in using Test Management Tools like Quality Center. - Knowledge of Test Automation tools such as QTP is desirable. - Strong analytical skills to identify core issues and understand the big picture. Desired Skills: - Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly. - Capability to manage different levels of details, from senior management to user level. - Strong networking skills to engage with business and IT departments effectively. - Focus on quality and understanding clients" needs. - High level of team spirit and fluency in English.
