Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Manual QA Engineer with hands-on experience in testing mobile (Android & iOS) and web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in accessibility testing, UI validation, and performance testing using JMeter. The role involves performing end-to-end manual testing to ensure that mobile applications are functionally accurate, visually consistent, accessible to all users, and perform optimally across devices.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and execute manual test cases for Android and iOS mobile applications.
• Create and maintain a detailed UI checklist to ensure design consistency, responsiveness, and alignment with design specifications.
• Perform UI verification and visual inspection across different screen sizes, OS versions, and devices.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) manually.
• Perform accessibility testing using assistive tools.
• Perform accessibility testing using assistive tools.
• Validate compliance with WCAG and ADA guidelines.
• Execute performance testing using Apache JMeter to evaluate app response times, stability, and load behavior.
• Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA and MANTIS bug tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and Business Analysts for requirement understanding and to verify issues and confirm fixes.
• Create and maintain test cases, test reports, and other testing documentation.
• Contribute to process improvements in UI, accessibility, and performance testing practices.
  

Required Skills And Qualifications

• 35 years of experience in manual testing of mobile applications (Android & iOS).
• Strong understanding of UI/UX validation and design consistency testing.
• Proven experience with mobile accessibility testing and assistive technologies.
• Familiarity with WCAG, and mobile accessibility best practices.
• Hands-on experience with JMeter for performance and load testing.
• Proficient in using JIRA and MANTIS for defect tracking and reporting.
• Skilled in test case writing, execution, and test documentation.
• Experience with real device testing, simulator/emulator and OS compatibility verification.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with automation testing tools and frameworks used for mobile applications.
• Exposure to API testing using tools like Postman.
• Experience in Database Testing.
