Job Title: Manager Quality Control (QC) Location: Palghar (Maharashtra) Qualifications & Experience: B.E./B.Tech/ Diploma in Metallurgy / Mechanical/ Production/Industrial Engineering or equivalent. 13-16 years of experience in Quality Control in a rolling mill or steel industry (preferably stainless steel). In-depth knowledge of mechanical properties, metallurgical characteristics of stainless steel, and forming behavior. Sound understanding of inspection techniques (UT, RT, MPI), lab testing (Spectro, UTM), and quality tools (SPC, 5 Why, FMEA, etc.). Key Skills: Expertise in stainless steel quality standards and rolling process parameters. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in ISO documentation and audit processes. Leadership and people management skills. Excellent communication and inter-departmental coordination. Job Purpose: To lead and manage all quality control functions within the rolling mill operations, ensuring that stainless steel products meet customer specifications, national/international standards, and internal quality benchmarks across all shapes such as Rounds, Squares, RCS, Flats, Angles, Channels, Strips, I-Beams, and Hex sections. Key Responsibilities: Quality Management: Establish, implement, and maintain robust QC systems and procedures across all production lines. Monitor quality of incoming raw materials (billets) and coordinate with purchase/suppliers for corrective actions. Ensure in-process inspection and final product quality for all sections: round, square, flat, RCS, etc. Manage metallurgical testing (mechanical, chemical, ultrasonic, NDT as needed) of stainless steel products. Team Leadership: Lead and guide a team of QC Engineers, Inspectors, and Lab Technicians. Train and mentor QC staff on updated testing techniques and standards (ASTM, IS, DIN, etc.). Documentation & Compliance: Maintain comprehensive quality records, test certificates, and traceability documentation. Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 and other relevant quality certifications. Prepare and review quality manuals, control plans, and work instructions. Root Cause Analysis & Improvement: Lead investigation and analysis of quality complaints, rejections, and deviations. Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and initiate continual improvement programs. Coordination & Reporting: Liaise with production, maintenance, and planning teams to maintain quality standards. Prepare monthly quality reports and present to top management with KPIs like rejection rate, first-pass yield, customer complaints, etc.

Maintenance Planning & Execution: Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules in SAP for 10", 18", and 28" 3Hi manual rolling mills consists of Gas fired BRF, Mill drives pinion stands, tilting tables, cooling bed with Hot saws etc. Lead breakdown failure analysis and corrective/Preventive actions to ensure for quick restoration of equipment. Monitor and optimize maintenance costs without compromising on safety or quality. 2. Team Leadership & Development: Lead a team of engineers, supervisors, and technicians across all three mills. Ensure proper training and skill development of the maintenance workforce. Promote a culture of safety, discipline, and continuous improvement. 3. Spare Management & Vendor Coordination: Ensure critical spares availability through effective inventory management. Liaise with vendors and OEMs for specialized equipment repairs, AMC, and procurement. 4. Shutdown / Project & Modification Work: Execute Major Shutdowns, capex projects, mill upgrades, and modifications for performance improvement. Implement improvements in mechanical systems to increase mill efficiency and reduce downtime. 5. Compliance & Documentation: Maintain documentation as per ISO/IMS standards related to maintenance activities like PM records, BD records, History books for critical equipments Ensure statutory compliance related to equipment maintenance and inspections.

Position Title : Rolling Mill - Incharge Location : Maharashtra Education : ITI/DME Experience : 10+ yrs Must have worked in Hot Rolling Mill (manual) for Angle, Strip/Flat Job Responsibilities: 1) Work force planning, Labor allocation, co-ordination with labor contractor. 2) Co-ordination with PPC Dept. to achieve production targets on daily basis. 3) Quality as per standard given by consumer to co-ordinate with Q.C. Dept. and in line inspections. To guide inline inspectors working in shop floor. 4) Initiative for development of new sections coordinating with head of department.. 5) Housekeeping & safety is mandatory for all working in shifts.. 6) Keep perfect check on stores requirement in shift to control inventory of store in shop floor. 7) To co-ordinate with maintenance & Electrical Dept. during Breakdown. To guide & help Maintenance Dept. if required. 8) To plan roll change in advance as per PPC Dept. co-ordination. To adhere the workshop responsibility and track and monitor rolls life. 9) To control lunch time & tea time during shift working. 10) Ensure to achieve daily/weekly and monthly production target 11) Ensure to achieve the zero cobble in his shift always.
