You are expected to fly Fixed Wing and Multi-copter UAV in Manual mode, so prior experience in manual Flying is required. You should possess the ability to quickly understand new concepts, apply them accurately, organize work phases, schedule and coordinate tasks, and determine the appropriate approach to provide solutions to complex problems. As a UAV Pilot, you will work within a team of engineers and technicians, so demonstrating a positive attitude, flexibility, and good communication skills is essential. Keeping daily pre and post-flight and inspection activity logs is also part of your responsibilities. To be considered for this position, you must have at least two years of experience as a UAS Pilot. You should have expertise and working knowledge of the National Airspace System, Digital Sky, and UAS operating rules and regulations. Experience in building and flying FPV drones will be an added advantage. Strong computer and documentation experience is necessary, along with good mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills to proactively address any equipment or work-related issues. Familiarity with flying fixed-wing UAV platforms of various sizes is required, and you should be willing to learn to fly different platforms. Additional desired experience includes an Aerospace Engineering Degree or experience as a test conductor, test director, test pilot/navigator, or similar role. The minimum qualifications for this position include a Bachelor's degree or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution and engineering experience.
