Cook / Chef – Mansavi Villa HomeStay (MVH) Location: Greater Noida | Type: Full-Time, On-Premises (Live-in Required) Role Summary Mansavi Villa HomeStay (MVH) is looking for a full-time, on-premises Cook/Chef to manage our vegetarian kitchen and deliver consistent, homely meals to guests. Success in this role means providing high-quality food, maintaining excellent hygiene, and ensuring timely service throughout the day. This position is essential to creating a comfortable, welcoming, and homely experience for MVH guests and plays a central role in our hospitality operations. Responsibilities Prepare daily breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks for all in-house guests with consistent taste and portion standards. Cook a variety of North Indian vegetarian dishes ; ability to handle simple Continental or South Indian breakfast items is preferred. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the entire kitchen, utensils, and food storage areas. Manage daily prep work such as cutting vegetables, organizing ingredients, and maintaining inventory. Coordinate with the caretaker to prepare grocery lists and manage stock levels. Ensure timely meal service according to guest schedules and handle special dietary requests (Jain food, mild spice, kids’ meals, etc.). Follow food safety, waste management, and kitchen discipline protocols. Maintain respectful communication with guests and staff. Adhere to MVH’s leave policy: 2 leaves per month + 10 paid leaves annually . Qualifications Experience: 3–5 years of experience in vegetarian cooking (homestay, household, guest house, or hotel background preferred). Skills: Strong knowledge of North Indian veg cuisine. Ability to work independently and manage a small kitchen. Good understanding of hygiene and food safety practices. Ability to plan meals and manage inventory. Basic communication and polite guest interaction skills. Behavioral Traits: Clean, disciplined, punctual, and trustworthy. Calm, respectful, and willing to adapt to guest needs. Requirement: Full-time, on-premises, live-in stay is mandatory.
