As the Plant Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of plant operations, including manpower management, process control, production, packing, raw material usage and control, plant efficiency, process losses, packing material losses, raw material losses, and manpower variance. Your primary goal will be to ensure the production runs at optimum efficiency and maximum capacity utilization. Your essential duties and responsibilities will include: - Planning, organizing, and directing manufacturing and maintenance operations to ensure the most effective return on assets. - Developing plans and processes to minimize manufacturing costs through the effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital. - Ensuring the attainment of business objectives and production schedules while exceeding product standards to meet customer expectations. - Implementing manufacturing strategies and action plans to support strategic initiatives. - Establishing group and individual accountabilities for problem-solving and cost reduction. - Encouraging the use of new techniques and fact-based problem-solving. - Improving manpower utilization and schedule stability for maximum efficiency. - Managing spending against consumable budgets and controlling spending in relation to production volume changes. - Fostering positive employee involvement and constructive input. - Continuously improving quality, safety records, employee attitudes towards quality and safety, as well as maintaining 5S and GMP standards. - Keeping up-to-date with the latest production and operations management concepts. You should hold a Graduation/B.E/B.Tech degree in Technology (Food, Mechanical, Electrical) and have a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in plant operations management.,
