Duties and Responsibilities :- • Plan and monitor production schedules, make necessary adjustments when required, oversee the setup and operation of the Expeller division equipment for extraction of crude oil from seeds (Shea, Sal and Mango kernel), ensuring SOPs are followed for optimal crude oil extraction. • Ensure raw material and crude oil samples are tested for quality and collect timely reports for validation. • Coordinate for supply of crude oil to the refinery& fractionation division in line with the production schedules. • Lead the resolution of any alarm flooding, management, and rationalization issues. • Handle indenting from stores as per the shift requirement, and maintain day-to-day stock of feed and oil stock as well as utilities consumption, arrange for any other resources as required. Quality Control • Optimize production cost through precise cost estimations and budget negotiations with clients and managers. • Adherence to Safety, environment, Hygiene and Maintenance Procedures. Process Control • Assure all planning, scheduling and managing all process control engineering activities, emergency shutdown system (ESD) and safety instrumented system (SIS) activities, and safety integrity level (SIL) activities related to plant facilities are coordinated and performed safely and efficiently. • Provide daily process control, SIS (safety instrumented system), and ESD (emergency shutdown system) support to the plant to keep the plant systems operational. • Improve and ensure the reliability and integrity of the SIS, ESD, and process control systems.
