About the Role: We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Manager to take ownership of financial operations in Nigeria. This role will oversee day-to-day bookkeeping, support timely and accurate monthly financial reporting, and ensure smooth execution of annual audits and regulatory compliances. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of accounting principles, be comfortable working with external auditors and consultants, and help establish robust financial processes. Key Responsibilities: Ø Oversee daily bookkeeping activities and ensure accuracy in accounting records. Ø Manage accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger. Ø Prepare and review monthly financial reports, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements. Ø Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely monthly closing. Ø Lead the preparation for annual audits; liaise with statutory auditors and ensure timely completion. Ø Ensure regulatory and tax compliances including TDS, GST, Income Tax, and ROC filings (prior experience of Nigeria laws not needed). Ø Support budgeting, variance analysis, and MIS reporting. Ø Continuously improve financial controls and documentation. Ø Help implement or manage financial tools/software to streamline workflows. Key Requirements: Ø Bachelor’s/master's degree in finance , Accounting , Economics, or a related field. Ø 6–7 years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or a similar role, preferably with exposure to international markets. Ø Advanced knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis. Ø Strong proficiency in Excel , Power BI , and other financial reporting tools. Ø Experience working with ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or similar). Ø Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Ø Ability to lead financial initiatives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
