Planning & Implementation Support in preparing micro-watershed and village-level treatment plans (ridge-to-valley approach). Assist in designing and executing soil and water conservation structures (check dams, farm ponds, contour trenches, bunding, etc.). Ensure timely execution of activities under watershed projects in coordination with local communities and government schemes (MGNREGA, IWMP, etc.). Community Mobilization & Institution Building Facilitate formation/strengthening of Watershed Committees, User Groups, and SHGs. Conduct PRA exercises, awareness campaigns, and training programs on water conservation and sustainable land use. Build capacities of local farmers in sustainable agriculture practices linked with watershed development. Monitoring, Reporting & Documentation Regularly monitor watershed interventions and assess impacts on soil moisture, water table, and cropping patterns. Maintain records, progress reports, and GIS/mapping data for review and donor/government reporting. Document case studies, success stories, and learnings from the field. Technical Support & Innovation Provide field-level technical guidance on natural resource management and eco-restoration activities. Support in introducing climate-resilient practices, water-use efficiency, and crop diversification. Assist in convergence with line departments and technical agencies. Salary Range : 25000-35000 INR/month
