As a Project Finance Analyst with over 3 years of experience, you will be responsible for providing financial support and ensuring accurate configuration and maintenance of project financial data within the Company's Project/Contract accounting system. Your role will involve reviewing and analyzing project financial activity to ensure compliance with internal control requirements and financial policies. Your essential functions will include coordinating the loading of global project budgets to the financial management system, confirming the setup of Project and Contract header information, and monitoring rate exception reports to resolve rate issues promptly. You will also be responsible for completing project close-out procedures, performing project-level reconciliations, and assisting in invoice backup requirements and client reconciliation requests. To excel in this role, you are required to have a High School Diploma or equivalent, or a Bachelor's Degree, along with at least 5 years of experience in a finance-related role. Knowledge of Peoplesoft Project, Microsoft Office applications, technical accounting skills, and data analysis capabilities are essential. You should possess the ability to exercise judgment, prioritize tasks effectively, and establish strong working relationships with colleagues, managers, and clients. In addition to your core responsibilities, you may also be involved in special project reporting and analysis as required.
