As a Body Shop Manager, you will be responsible for managing daily operations to ensure efficient workflow and meet production targets. Your role will involve overseeing repair work to ensure it is completed to a high standard and in accordance with industry guidelines. Additionally, you will be tasked with monitoring and controlling the inventory of supplies and equipment, as well as hiring, training, and managing body shop technicians and support staff. Safety is a top priority in this role, and you will be responsible for implementing and enforcing safety standards and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Excellent customer service is also a key aspect of the job, as you will handle customer queries and complaints to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Building and maintaining positive working relationships with customers and insurance adjusters is essential. Moreover, you will be required to prepare and administer an annual operating budget for the body shop to effectively manage finances.
