Managing/ Principal Associate- Direct Tax

You will be joining HRhelpdesk, a HR Advisory Company, which has been assigned the responsibility of managing the complete recruitment process for BMR Legal Advocates, a boutique law firm specializing in Corporate International Tax, Transfer Pricing, GST, Customs & Trade. BMR Legal Advocates, founded in 2010, excels in litigation services, controversy management, strategic transaction advisory, and policy formulation. As the Managing/ Principal Associate, your primary role will revolve around overseeing client engagements focused on Direct tax. Your day-to-day activities will involve preparing opinions, presentations, and proposals, conducting research and analysis on litigation issues, creating briefing notes/charts for income tax cases presented before ITAT, High Court, and Supreme Court. You will also be responsible for preparing paper books, conducting case-related research, and organizing arguments. To excel in this role, you must possess experience in providing advisory services in Direct tax such as corporate tax, transfer pricing (TP), and international tax. A robust understanding and practical knowledge of the Income Tax Act are essential. Additionally, you will regularly interact with Partners, updating them on client requirements and overseeing team management responsibilities. To be considered for this position, you should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a reputable law firm or professional services firm. Excellent communication skills, along with strong analytical, research, and drafting abilities, are crucial for success in this role.
