We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer II to join our growing global team at Sectigo. As a Technical Support Engineer II, you will work closely with our customer base and sales department to handle day-to-day customer issues, troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems, and contribute to the development of support processes and documentation. This full-time position is based in our Chennai office at DLF IT Park, Manapakkam, and requires working 5 days a week. Your responsibilities will include handling customer issues, researching and diagnosing technical problems, providing high-quality support via phone, email, or chat, escalating unresolved issues to higher-level teams, and effectively communicating with end users, colleagues, and management to ensure quick issue resolution. You will also be responsible for managing multiple open issues, logging system-related issues, contributing to a Knowledge Base, mentoring Level 1 support staff, and participating in special projects as assigned. To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's or college degree in a business or technical field or equivalent experience. You must have a minimum of 3+ years of customer support and help desk experience, with at least 2+ years of technical support experience working with global customers. Strong understanding of Active Directory, networking concepts, troubleshooting network issues, PKI concepts, TLS/SSL protocols, and certificate management is required. Proficiency in tools like MMC, OpenSSL, Java Keytool, Wireshark, and knowledge of servers like IIS, Apache, and NGINX are also essential. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organization skills, superior customer service abilities, experience with large and enterprise accounts, knowledge of corporate environment, and familiarity with Sectigo products and services. You should possess qualities such as integrity, fair-mindedness, and a congenial personality. Additionally, you must be able to work in a fast-paced global environment, including shift work, holidays, weekends, and after-hours support pager duty.
