Manager, Test Engg - DFT

Role Overview: As a Senior Automated Test Facilitator, you will play a crucial role in understanding requirements, preparing and executing tests while adhering to all test controls. You will have good experience in integration testing, system testing, API, and Regression testing. Your primary responsibility will involve working across several application teams to coach team members, embed processes, and facilitate change to ensure teams can validate the quality of the product delivered as per group standards. Additionally, you will have experience in Web-Based application testing, with a preference for API automation. Key Responsibilities: - Understand Business Driven Development (BDD) and be an expert in functional test automation - Have a grasp of non-functional requirements in software development and the 12-factor app methodology - Possess demonstrable programming knowledge in at least one Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) language, preferably Java - Familiarity with Performance Testing, such as volume testing, is a plus - Ability to coach and guide junior test engineers - Full understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), especially Agile methodologies - Familiar with test management processes - Possess ISTQB or Agile Test certification - Knowledge in the Banking domain is an added advantage - Understanding of Big Data and warehousing technologies like Hadoop, Kafka, Teradata would be beneficial - Previous experience in coaching or consultancy - Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment processes or willingness to learn Qualifications Required: - Minimum 9+ years of experience in Testing encompassing both Manual and Automation - Proficiency in Automation Testing with Selenium using Java - Good understanding of BDD framework - Experience in the Banking Domain - ISTQB Certified About the Company: Standard Chartered is an international bank that is nimble enough to act and impactful enough to make a positive difference in the world.
