As an Application Engineering Technical Lead at EY, you will be providing advanced-level IT technical lead services focused on software, middleware, and hardware projects. Your role will involve directing, evaluating, and integrating technologies while leading backend development with a focus on performance, scalability, secure data integration, and cross-functional collaboration. Key Responsibilities: - Provide advanced level IT technical lead services and direction for software, middleware, or hardware projects on a single platform. - Complete complex development, design, implementation, architecture design specification, and maintenance activities with technical expertise. - Identify potential solutions, approve solutions proposed by team members, and resolve complex issues uncovered by testers and internal clients. - Communicate with key stakeholders on project issues and implications, evaluating the impacts of change requests on technologies. - Mentor IT staff with less experience, review and approve documentation and diagrams, and identify opportunities for continuous quality improvement. - Participate in design, code, and test inspections, present technical status and issues at milestone reviews, and ensure compliance with IT and Information Security policies. - Lead server-side development, collaborate with front-end and cross-functional teams, integrate and maintain data flow between APIs, backend services, and databases, and implement best practices for securing backend systems and enhancing scalability. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 5 years of related work experience in software development and system integration. - Bachelors degree (B.E./B.Tech) in relevant fields such as Computer Science or a Masters degree/Diploma in Computer Science. - Proficiency in software architecture, system integration, coding languages (e.g., Java, Python, C), middleware technologies, and cloud platforms. - Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to analyze complex requirements, develop solutions, and resolve technical issues.
