In this role, you will report to the Sr Manager - Tax and play a crucial role in driving the European tax transformation agenda. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing tax technology and data strategies in collaboration with key stakeholders to enhance tax compliance, reporting, and planning. As the Manager - Tax Technology & Data, you will have a direct reporting line into ATR GBS and a dotted line reporting to the European Tax Director. You will partner with the Head of Tax Transformation Europe to shape and execute the tax technology and data strategy. Your focus will be on leading the implementation of tax data models, automation tools, and digital solutions to support compliance, reporting, and planning across European markets. Additionally, you will ensure tax data integrity, collaborate with tax, finance, and IT teams, and contribute to the development of a centralized tax data platform. In terms of people-related responsibilities, you will lead the GBS Bangalore Tax team, providing guidance, training, and talent management. You will inspire and empower your team to achieve shared goals, set clear expectations, and recognize performance. Talent management and continuous learning are key aspects of this role to build a strong pipeline and grow at the pace of talent. To qualify for this role, you should have at least 6 years of experience in tax compliance, transformation, or data analytics within a multinational environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, hands-on experience with tools like Power BI and ERP systems, and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential. Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of other European languages is a plus.
