Amazon Direct Tax Technology is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Solutions Architect Manager to lead a team of solutions architects, tax modelers and other tech & non-tech roles in delivering world-class technology solutions. This role is based in Hyderabad, India and requires a strategic leader who can manage complex technical challenges while building and developing a high-performing team. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strong people management capabilities to drive innovation and deliver scalable solutions that meet business objectives.
The Solutions Architect Manager will be responsible for leading their team through ambiguous and complex technical challenges, establishing strategic direction, and ensuring the delivery of robust, scalable solutions. This role requires someone who can think strategically while acting tactically, possessing excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to influence business and technology leaders at all levels, including senior management.This role requires the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and time zones, manage competing priorities, and adapt to rapidly changing business needs. - Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience- Experience hiring, developing, and managing high-performing technical teams
- AWS Professional level certification
- Experience with data scripting languages (e.g. SQL, Python, R etc.) or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R, SAS, or Matlab)- Experience in written and verbal communication skills to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership- Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWSOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
