Job Description for Manager- Software Design
Summary:
Experience: 8+ Years
Location: Samtel Avionics, Gurgaon
Education: ME /M.Tech /ME / B.Tech. Computer Science or Electronics & Communications / Telecommunications
Industry Type: R&D, Manufacturing of state-of-the-art Electronics products for railways industry.
Role: Design & Engineering

Roles & Responsibilities: Software Design
Requirements Analysis & validation (RTM)
Re-usability Analysis
SW Requirements Spec(SRS)
Plan for Software Aspects of Certification (PSAC)
Software Verification Plan (SVP)
Software Development Plan (SDP)
Configuration Management Plan(SCMP)
Software Quality Assurance Plan(SQAP)
SW test plan (STP)
SW Test Report (STR)
IV&V Activity
Software Verification and Validation Report (SVR)
Final SW Build Release (Product transfer)
Must have deep knowledge and experience of Embedded System software for multiple processor families
Should have familiarity with 8,12,32-bit Microprocessor /microcontrollers belonging to ARM, Intel, PowerPC
Experience in programming memory and IO chips as per application needs based on study of data sheets
Hands-on experience with communication protocols like I2C, SPI, UART, Ethernet, USB etc.
Experience with Device Driver Development for Windows, Linux, Bare Metal
Preferred: Experience with Railways Systems such as DDU, HMI, RMS, PAPIS, PIS, TCMS , VCU
Skills / Expertise:
C /C-Sharp programming skills
Qt- cross-platform framework for developing applications and graphical user interfaces (GUIs) that can run across
different operating systems.
Windows Device driver development on any of Windows OS variant (Windows XP/ Windows Vista/
Windows7/Windows CE )
Debugging using WinDBG
Windows/Linux based Hardware/ Display device programming experience
Code analysis and debugging skills
Understanding of Windows OS concepts, Win32 APIs.
Development of Platform (BOOT, BSP, OS) core software and drivers
Self-driven/ initiator,
English Communication Skills (Written & verbal),
