Industry: Higher Education Post/ Job Title: Manager, Career Development Centre Experience: 7+ Years Job Type: Regular Reporting to: Director Career Development Centre Job Location: Ghatkesar, Hyderabad (TG) No. of Positions: Two (02) Role: To look after the training and placement activities of students and to have close liaison with industry for the placement of students. To work in consultation with coordinator Industry Institute interaction for organizing lectures from the professionals and industry. Responsibilities: To look after the training and placement activities of students. Networking with Alumni & Maintain Alumni relations to Strengthen the alumni network. Finding placement opportunities for students. Building and maintaining relationships with students to discover skills and preferences. Liaising with students and employers during placements. Fostering relationships with local placement providers. To collect feedback from the companies coming for placement Arrange training programmers for soft skills and for interview facing skills for the students using institutional and external expertise Negotiating terms of placements with employers To organize the entrepreneurship workshops Conducting pre-placement background checks. Providing lists of placement students to course coordinators. Providing information and documentation about placements to students. Any other responsibilities assigned by the authority time to time. Eligibility Criteria (Education & Experience): Post-Graduation in any specialization from reputed Institution/university. Minimum 7+ years of proven experience in the relevant field/similar academic institutions and preference will be given to candidates proficient in liaisons with various industries for placement. Strong organizational ability in handling wide ranging tasks and detail oriented. Excellent communication skills Verbal & Written. Effective Leadership qualities.
