As an experienced professional with 4-9 years of experience and a graduate degree, your role will involve creating merchandise assortment plans for all stores. You will be responsible for developing appropriate buying plans for assigned categories in alignment with sales targets. Setting ARP targets for product categories and conducting depth analysis will be crucial aspects of your role. Additionally, you will need to formulate Stock to Sale plans for each season, calculate Open-To-Buy (OTB), and create buying plans, including Flash Lines, based on current trends for A+ Stores. Monthly target setting, breaking down targets by product category, and monitoring target achievement will be part of your responsibilities. In terms of inventory management, you will ensure ideal stock cover for each product category, manage dormancy and pullbacks within specified norms, and generate sell-through reports using Excel. Analyzing product performance year-on-year and tracking stock and sale plans will also be key tasks. Your role will require you to stay updated on market intelligence, including new launches, competition mapping, and trends in merchandise, product, and visual merchandising. You will contribute to enhancing the category's share of the total business and identify new designs to drive business growth. Collaborating with design teams, you will provide range architecture for each season, ensuring an optimal product mix based on past learnings and market forecasts. Planning and executing Integrated Go-To-Market strategies, including visual merchandising and store design, will be essential for a successful product launch. Lastly, you will work closely with retail planners to integrate space planning with merchandise strategies, ensuring efficient space utilization and monitoring returns from allocated spaces.
