Manager, QA Assurance (Automation)

Role Overview: You will be joining our team working on Qualys Next-Generation Platform & Middleware as a skilled and passionate QA Manager. Your primary responsibility will be collaborating closely with engineers and architects to design, develop, and maintain a robust automation regression test bed and a scalable QA framework. Your efforts will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of cutting-edge features across the Qualys Platform. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the Automation & Manual QA Effort on all the products and features in the group - Install, test, and verify multiple components that comprise a product to certify conformity to requirements and readiness for release - Develop and maintain test plans and test cases with complete test coverage - Design and develop automation framework using Java, Nodejs, Python, Cucumber, JMeter, etc. - Execute tests, provide quality test status reports, and meet schedule commitments - Build and develop automated performance benchmarks for all releases across all products - Work independently on tasks and collaboratively with the team to achieve common goals - Build a team of sharp QA automation experts - Work closely with Product Managers and Engineers locally and globally to understand testing requirements Qualifications: - Degree in Computer Science or equivalent - 12+ years of work experience with at least 3+ years as a manager in the field of software testing and test automation of multi-tier Enterprise and/or Cloud, SaaS applications - Experience in building automation frameworks from the ground up using Java, Selenium automation framework - Demonstrable experience with RESTful API, UI test automation, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines - Good understanding of computer networks and networking concepts - Agile development experience Additional Details: This position is based in our fastest-growing R&D center in Pune, India, and is an integral part of our global engineering organization.
