Manager - Proprietary Electronics

As the Manager - Proprietary Electronics at Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited, located in Bangalore, India, you will be responsible for designing and developing power electronics platforms for electric vehicles. This includes components such as MCU, AC to DC converters, Charging Box, Charging cable with earth leakage detection, and DC to DC converters. Your primary focus will be on meeting performance, quality, cost, and weight targets while also ensuring compliance with manufacturing requirements. Your role will involve establishing product specifications, deriving system architectures, and designing converter topologies for various applications within the electric vehicle. You will need to optimize the layout and packaging of electronic components within the vehicle's Digital Mock-Up (DMU), taking into consideration functionality and manufacturability aspects. Conducting simulations and analyses, such as worst-case scenarios, Monte Carlo simulations, tolerance stack-ups, power dissipation, and stress analysis, will be crucial to support the selection of power components, system architectures, and power conversion topologies. Staying updated on global trends in relevant technology and regulations will be essential for developing long-term roadmaps and work plans. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be necessary for functional safety, thermal management, packaging, EMI/EMC considerations, FMEA, and worst-case analysis. You will also be involved in engaging product development teams throughout the entire process, from concept to production, including design proposal, reviews, test plans, and results evaluation. To ensure timely closure of Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Verification of Build (VOB), and Tool Kit Order (TKO), you will provide support to the CDMM team. Additionally, driving all IMCR/Ideation initiatives will be part of your responsibilities in this role.
