Job Description

Oversee
contract manufacturing operations
for domestic formulations, including Nutraceuticals (FSSAI & AYUSH) and Cosmetics.
Manage and coordinate with
Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs)
to ensure timely production, quality compliance, and delivery.
Prepare and share
monthly production plans
with all CMO sites and ensure adherence to targets and timelines.
Handle
raw material procurement
at loan license locations as per customer purchase orders and raise
Purchase Requisition Notes (PRNs)
for raw materials and finished goods.
Coordinate with the
Purchase Department
to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and packaging materials to CMOs.
Manage
Stock Transfer Orders (STOs)
for inter-unit transfers and between CMO sites, including Sami Actives and other business units.
Oversee
SAP activities
such as PRN creation, PO/STO generation, FG-GRN entries, stock verification (FG, RM, PM), and job work-related activities.
Create and revise
Bills of Materials (BOMs)
as per R&D updates and ensure correct mapping in SAP.
Plan and forecast
inventory requirements
based on production schedules, sales forecasts, and customer demand.
Coordinate with
Sales, QA, QC, RA, F&D, Procurement, and Distribution
teams to ensure smooth production and dispatch operations.
Conduct
GMP compliance visits
to CMO sites and ensure adherence to manufacturing and storage standards.
Review and approve
product costing sheets
for new and existing products and obtain management approval.
Support
new product launches
in coordination with Formulation & Development, RA, and BD teams.
Monitor
non-moving stock
at CMO sites, prepare
Destruction Notes
, and obtain required approvals.
Ensure proper inventory management, segregation, and storage as per label claim and regulatory norms.
Identify and onboard
new CMO sites
based on production requirements and GMP compliance.
Handle
production cycle closure
and accountability between company and CMO partners.
Maintain
stability studies
and control samples for each product manufactured annually.
Provide
monthly inventory reports
to the Accounts Department and prepare periodic
sales and production reports
(weekly, fortnightly, monthly).
Drive the PPIC team to achieve monthly and annual production and delivery targets efficiently.
