Role Summary

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Scheduling

• Develop and maintain

  integrated project schedules

  (L1L4) covering engineering, procurement, construction, erection, testing, and commissioning.
• Prepare

  baseline schedules

  , recovery plans, and catch-up schedules.
• Define

  critical path activities

  and monitor float consumption.
• Coordinate with all discipline leads to ensure realistic planning inputs.
  

Progress Monitoring & Control

• Track

  daily, weekly, and monthly progress

  against approved schedules.
• Analyze schedule variances and recommend corrective actions.
  
• Prepare

  look-ahead schedules

  (2-week / 4-week / 3-month).
• Monitor productivity norms and resource deployment.
  

Cost & Resource Coordination

• Coordinate with project controls for

  earned value analysis (EVA)

  .
• Assist in preparation of

  cash flow forecasts

  and manpower histograms.
• Monitor equipment and material mobilization plans.
  

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare and submit

  weekly and monthly planning reports

  to management and clients.
• Generate

  S-curves, histograms, dashboards, and MIS reports

  .
• Support preparation of

  delay analysis, extension of time (EOT)

  and claims documentation.

Interface & Coordination

• Liaise with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, QA/QC, and Commissioning teams.
  
• Coordinate with client, consultant, and subcontractors on schedule-related matters.
  
• Support contract and commercial teams with schedule inputs.
  

Risk & Change Management

• Identify planning-related risks and mitigation strategies.
  
• Evaluate impact of scope changes and variations on project schedule.
  
• Support change management and recovery planning.
