Job Summary

The Manager – PPC is responsible for driving production efficiency and business performance by ensuring effective alignment between Production and Supply Chain Planning. The role requires strong analytical, operational, and execution capabilities to deliver optimized production plans, inventory control, and cross-functional coordination.

Educational Qualification & Experience

• B.Tech with MBA will be added advantage
• 10–20 years of experience in Production Planning & Control
• Minimum 2+ years of diversified experience across Plant Operations, Inventory Management, Planning & Analysis, Product Management, or Supply Chain Operations

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Operations

• Develop and execute weekly and monthly production plans with plan vs. actual analysis
• Lead production scheduling and detailed outage planning for assigned product lines
• Coordinate with Production, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Commercial teams to balance operational priorities

Financial & Performance Management

• Generate optimization initiatives to improve plant efficiency, inventory levels, yield loss, and energy consumption
• Conduct operational and economic evaluations to support business decisions

Process & Systems Management

• Monitor, control, and report critical inventories
• Maintain and enhance planning and scheduling tools (SAP/ERP) for improved accuracy and performance
• Track and report KPIs related to production planning and execution

People & Stakeholder Management

• Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure executable and aligned operating plans
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, suppliers, and external consultants

Key Competencies

Technical / Functional

• Strong knowledge of end-to-end production planning processes
• Working knowledge of SAP (or equivalent ERP) and MS Excel
• Good numerical, analytical, and statistical skills
