Description
As a Manager, Analytics Engineering at GALE, your role will be crucial in owning the data end-to-end for a portfolio of clients. Your responsibilities will include: - Managing data import/export, transformation, and visualization in collaboration with the Data Engineering team - Supporting the evolution of data architecture and reporting across cross-functional teams - Ensuring well-audited data aligned with best practices in coordination with the Technical Quality Assurance (QA) team - Assisting the Director in strategic and technical process improvements and innovation roadmap - Translating stakeholder needs into ETL/ELT and dashboard requirements based on the business context - Handling data ingestion, transformation, modeling, and aggregation to empower teams company-wide and clients for data analysis and storytelling - Providing mentorship and guidance to junior team members Qualifications required for this role include: - 6+ years of experience in analytics engineering, business intelligence, data engineering, software development, or related roles supporting marketing or sales organizations - Proficiency in SQL and ETL optimization techniques, particularly in cloud-based data warehouses like Redshift, Snowflake, and BigQuery - Familiarity with data ingestion tools such as Funnel, Fivetran, and Stitch - Experience working with data feeds from platforms like Google Marketing Platforms, Meta, Tiktok, and Trade Desk - Expertise in ETL/ELT pipelines, analytical data modeling, schema design, and dimensional data modeling - Knowledge of Data Visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker for reporting and analysis - Strong communication skills to explain technical matters clearly to both senior leaders and less technical partners - Ability to ensure data validation and QA with attention to detail - Proven technical leadership in project delivery - Motivation to be proactive and exceed expectations Nice to have qualifications include a BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or related field, experience in consulting or advertising industry, proficiency in Python and Excel, and familiarity with leading Web Analytics platforms like Adobe Analytics.
