Role Overview

We are seeking a sales-driven Interior Design Business Manager who can convert leads into projects, close high-value deals, and build lasting client relationships. The ideal candidate will combine design awareness with sharp business acumen to effectively position Aakriti Indesign Studio as the preferred choice for premium interiors. This role is focused on business growth, sales pipeline management, client conversion, and revenue delivery, with design knowledge serving as a strong support in client discussions.

Key Responsibilities

- Sales & Business Development (Primary Focus)

- Drive sales conversions by engaging with incoming leads, pitching design solutions, and closing deals.

- Present compelling design + value propositions to clients, highlighting Aakritis quality, efficiency, and expertise.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, developers, architects, contractors, and channel partners.

- Prepare and negotiate proposals, quotations, and commercial terms with clarity.

- Manage the sales pipeline to ensure consistent revenue growth.

- Contribute to marketing and brand visibility initiatives that generate leads.

Client Advisory & Design Support

- Understand client needs (aesthetic + functional) and align proposals with their requirements and budgets.

- Participate in design presentations with the creative team to strengthen client confidence.

- Ensure design concepts and proposals are financially viable and market competitive.

- Act as the client’s primary business contact while ensuring smooth handover to design/project teams.

Leadership & Financial Management

- Mentor and guide sales coordinators and design associates in client interactions.

- Monitor project profitability, ensure financial goals are met, and support cost negotiations.

- Collaborate with design and project management teams to align delivery with commitments made at sales stage.

Eligibility Criteria

- Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Interior Design, Architecture, Business Administration, or related field.

- Experience: 7–12 years, with at least 3–5 years in sales/business development roles in interiors, real estate, or allied industries.

- Proven ability to close high-value residential/commercial interior projects.

- Strong communication, negotiation, and client-handling skills.

- Comfort with design software knowledge (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop) — enough to support discussions, not day-to-day drafting.

- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a sharp revenue orientation.
