Position: Manager, Group Insurance Department: Corporate Finance Location: Jogeshwari W, Mumbai Reports to: Head Insurance Job Objective: Oversee the Insurance requirements of the ACG Group including its foreign subsidiaries Primary responsibilities: Renewal of Insurance policies of all businesses including foreign subsidiaries Negotiations of premiums, terms and conditions of the insurance policies. Settlements of claims in event of any losses. Ensuring renewal data are collected from stakeholders and sent to insurance companies/Broker for quotations. Regular Risk inspection of Plants is conducted through Insurance companies/brokers and follow up with businesses for its implementation as suggested and recommended in the reports. Co-ordinations with all stakeholders for all insurance related matters. Key Interfaces: Internal Interfaces Sales team Finance and accounts. Logistic. Operation team of the plant. Corporate /Local HR External Interfaces Insurance companies. Insurance Brokers. Insurance Surveyors. Desired Competencies: In depth Knowledge of general insurance Result Oriented Well adverse with overseas insurances placements. Cross Functional Skills Knowledge of various General insurance policies both domestic and International, Especially Liability policies. Well adverse with its coverages and exclusions Communication Skills Settlement of claims. Skills to handle and deal with surveyor and Insurance co. Dealing with International Brokers Learning Agility Negotiations of premium with adequate coverages Stakeholder Management Educational and Experience Requirements: Professional degree OR certification course in General insurance from any recognized Institute, preferably from Insurance Institute of India. Minimum 12 -15 years. Ideally in a corporate environment or from a Insurance company/Broker. Very good working knowledge of MS Office tools. Hand on knowledge while dealing with Brokers/Insurance companies.
