Manager - Financial Analytics

As a Financial Analytics Manager, your role will involve leading the financial data analytics strategy, delivering actionable business intelligence, and driving strategic planning within the Finance department. You should ideally have 6-8 years of experience, preferably gained within high-growth startups or core analytics companies, showcasing expertise in finance, data science, and team leadership. Experience with investor reporting would be a significant advantage. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct deep-dive variance and performance analysis across key financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) to identify risks, opportunities, and efficiency gains. - Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines, dashboards, and reports using advanced tools to provide real-time visibility into financial health. Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and security of financial data used for reporting and decision-making. - Manage, mentor, and coach a team of Finance Analysts, setting clear performance expectations and fostering a culture of data quality and analytical rigor. Standardize and streamline analytical workflows and tools to improve the efficiency and speed of the Finance function. - Contribute to the preparation of clear, compelling, and data-backed reports and presentations for investors, the Board of Directors, and executive leadership. Mandatory Skills & Qualifications: - 6-8 years of experience in Finance Analytics, FP&A, or Business Intelligence, ideally within a high-growth environment. - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Data Science, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field. - Excellent understanding of core financial metrics, accounting principles, and financial planning processes. - Proficiency in SQL for complex data extraction, manipulation, and ETL processes. - Hands-on experience with Python for data manipulation and statistical libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) for advanced financial analysis and modeling. - Advanced proficiency in at least one leading BI tool: Tableau or Power BI. - Proven experience in leading, managing, and developing a team of analysts. Preferred Qualifications: - Direct experience in preparing comprehensive financial packages for investors or the Board of Directors. - Exposure to and interest in leveraging AI tools (e.g., generative AI, machine learning) to enhance forecasting accuracy and operational efficiency. - Experience with a modern data warehousing environment (e.g., Databricks, BigQuery),
