Position: Manager, Engineering Solutions Center
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of application engineers to deliver engineering solutions to the regional engineering teams and customers.
  • Oversee and support hardware and software engineering design services, including:
  • Provide advanced engineering support to the regional engineering team to maximum demand creation effort
  • Reference design validation to align with customer requirements.
  • Develop customized engineering solutions tailored to market and customer needs.
  • Analyzes technology trends, human resource needs, and market demand to plan projects.
  • Forecasts operating costs of department and directs preparation of budget requests.
  • Directs personnel activities of department, such as recruitment, hiring, performance evaluations, and salary adjustments.
  • Exercises limited management authority; sets employee performance objectives, conducts performance reviews and recommends pay actions
  • Defines team operating standards and ensures essential procedures are followed based on knowledge of own discipline
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and customer requirements to maintain the organizations competitive edge.
  • Accountable for the performance and results of a team within own discipline or function
  • Provide technical training and development opportunities to team members to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, learning, and innovation within the engineering team.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor s degree or higher in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering field.
  • A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in electronics, semiconductor or R&D environment.
  • Proven experience in managing engineering teams and delivering technical solutions.
  • Strong background in hardware and software design, with hands-on experience in prototype and reference design validation.
  • Deep understanding of electronic components, semiconductor technologies, and interconnect systems.
  • Proficiency in engineering design tools and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of quality standards and compliance requirements in design and manufacturing.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively with customers, partners, and internal teams.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and drive alignment on technical and business objectives.
