Join GlobalLogic, to be a valid part of the team working on a huge software project for the world-class company providing M2M / IoT 4G/5G modules e.g. to the automotive, healthcare and logistics industries. Through our engagement, we contribute to our customer in developing the end-user modules firmware, implementing new features, maintaining compatibility with the newest telecommunication and industry standards, as well as performing analysis and estimations of the customer requirements.

Requirements

The Procurement Manager / Deputy Manager for IT & Non-IT is responsible for managing the end-to-end sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management for both IT (hardware, software, and IT services) and non-IT categories and Infrastructure Build-out Projects. This role ensures a streamlined procurement process, cost savings, and quality delivery while maintaining compliance and sustainability standards. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to support the organization's operational and strategic objectives.

Job responsibilities

1. Vendor Sourcing & Relationship Management:

Identify, qualify, and onboard reliable suppliers for both IT (hardware, software, cloud, services) and non-IT needs (office supplies, professional services, facilities).

Foster long-term partnerships with key vendors, focusing on quality, cost, and timely delivery.

Conduct regular vendor evaluations to ensure compliance with quality standards and performance metrics.

2. Contract Negotiation & Management:

Lead negotiations with suppliers, ensuring optimal terms for pricing, quality, service level agreements, and warranties.

Draft, review, and manage procurement contracts, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.

Manage renewals for software licenses, IT services, and other annual contracts, preventing service interruptions.

3. Cost Control & Budget Optimization:

Analyze market trends for IT and non-IT categories to drive cost savings and optimize spending.

Develop strategies to reduce procurement costs while maintaining quality and delivery standards.

Monitor and manage procurement budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational financial goals.

4. Compliance & Risk Management:

Ensure adherence to procurement policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards for IT and non-IT categories.

Identify and mitigate risks associated with supplier reliability, contract terms, and supply chain disruptions.

Stay informed on regulatory changes impacting procurement, implementing changes to comply with new requirements.

6. Data Analysis & Reporting:

Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for procurement, including cost savings, vendor performance, and budget utilization.

Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on procurement trends and potential areas for improvement.

Maintain accurate procurement data and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.

7. Cross-functional Collaboration:

Work closely with IT, finance, HR, facilities, and legal departments to align procurement activities with organizational needs.

Actively support cross-functional projects by ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement solutions.

Communicate procurement timelines, budgets, and requirements to internal stakeholders.

8. Process Improvement & Technology Integration:

Evaluate and improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.

Leverage procurement software and tools to streamline purchasing, tracking, and reporting processes.

Implement best practices in procurement and keep up-to-date on new technologies in supply chain management.

9. Infrastructure Build-out Well versed with Infra Buildout Activitiesand handled the same(Finalization of Architect, Contractors, floating of tenders, negotiations, comparison, finalization of terms and conditions etc)

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, IT, or a related field.

6-8 + years of experience in procurement, with a focus on both IT and non-IT categories preferred.

Strong negotiation and vendor management skills, with proven experience in contract management.

Proficient in procurement management systems, ERP software (Oracle or SAP) , and Microsoft Office Suite.Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Power Point.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work across departments.
