The role of Business Analyst at Standard Chartered is a key position within the HR Transformation team, reporting to a Lead in Digital Design and Enablement. In this role, you will be responsible for various aspects of business process and digital design, starting from gathering business requirements to designing solutions, delivering them, and supporting change and enablement of digital solutions. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation and implementing new agile ways of working within the organization. To excel in this position, you should be an experienced business analyst with a successful track record of delivering complex digital HR transformation projects in large organizations using agile methodology. Your expertise in HR functional processes, solution design, technology, and change management will be essential for this role. Familiarity with ServiceNow and other case management digital solutions would be advantageous. Key responsibilities for this role include supporting the planning, implementation, evaluation, and maintenance of product backlogs using Agile methodology. You will also be tasked with identifying areas for process improvements and digital enhancements, eliciting requirements from stakeholders, facilitating workshops, and implementing change initiatives. Collaboration with various teams such as Service Delivery Design, Technology Architects, and other Programme team members will be essential to implement metrics and goals related to digital solution delivery. As a Business Analyst, you will be involved in mapping out complex business processes and employee journeys, developing benchmarks, and creating solutions to optimize and automate processes. You will also play a key role in facilitating customer requirements gathering, developing user cases and stories, and ensuring a clear understanding of business requirements by technology developers. Moreover, you will support change management and enablement activities to drive the adoption of digital solutions. Strong stakeholder management, prioritization skills, communication abilities, and risk management practices will be crucial for success in this role. Additionally, you will be expected to adhere to regulatory and compliance standards, embedding the organization's values and code of conduct across your team and function.
