 Manager - Debt Management Services - SME 
 Job Purpose 
To achieve Debt Management Services targets of the respective branch assigned, ensuring meeting PI targets. Continuously monitor Debt Management Services agencies and in-house collectors to identify fraudulent practices and ensure that no loss is incurred due to such activities.  Duties and Responsibilities 
  • Achieve collections target by visiting customers/agencies.
  • Monitor performance against set parameters and provide regular updates and proper guidelines.
  • Review and track milestones.
  • Ensure legal guidelines are complied with while repossessing products.
  • Travel with Relationship Officers (ROs) as necessary.
  • Timely allocation of cases to team members.
  • Proficient in Excel for daily tracking of team performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Handle escalations promptly and effectively to resolve issues.
  • Daily DRR (Daily Risk Report) management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve collection rates.
  • Counsel and groom direct reportees to enhance and polish their skill sets.
  • Manage a team of collection officers to achieve overall targets.
  • Rectify problems encountered during the collection process.
  • Manage average collection reports to monitor and improve collection performance.
  • Legal recovery for Urban NPLWheels (Vehicle Finance) Repo and Legal Management.
  • Litigation and case management.
  • Compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Reporting and documentation.

  •  Required Qualifications and Experience 
  • Proven experience in debt collection and recovery, ideally within the SME or vehicle finance sector.
  • Ability to achieve collection targets by visiting customers/agencies.
  • Strong monitoring skills to track performance against set parameters.
  • Experience in legal compliance during product repossession.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for performance tracking and reporting.
  • Experience managing and leading a collections team.
  • Excellent record-keeping and documentation abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and escalation management skills.
  • Experience with legal recovery, repo, litigation, and compliance.
  • Ability to develop strategies to improve collection rates and manage risk.
  • Counseling and mentoring team members to enhance skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
