Manager, Cross Platform Strategy Analytics

As a Manager in the Cross Platform Strategy Analytics team within the India Analytics Hub at Synchrony, you will play a vital role as an individual contributor. Your main focus will be on utilizing data and analytical tools to create solutions that improve customer experience and boost business growth. You will need to understand business requirements, develop prototypes, and derive actionable insights to contribute to Synchrony's expansion and profitability. Key Responsibilities: - Independently solve various problems using your expertise in Data and Analytical Tools - Collaborate on cross-platform initiatives and develop scalable solutions - Partner on strategic ideas and proof of concepts to drive revenue growth - Ensure timely delivery, accuracy, and documentation in alignment with Audit Procedures - Mentor and guide team members on tools and processes Qualifications Required: - BS or MS in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field with 2+ years of hands-on Analytics experience - Proficiency in SQL, SAS, Tableau, or Open Source Tools with the ability to independently build queries for data extraction and aggregation - Understanding of key concepts in Retail Finance and the ability to translate them into quantitative attributes - Capability to define methodology, present insights, and influence decision-making Desired Skills/Knowledge: - 2+ years of analytics/data science experience in the Financial Services Industry - Proficiency in Python and R, preferably in a Linux-based cloud environment like AWS - Knowledge of multivariable calculus, linear algebra, and ML methods such as k-Nearest Neighbors, Naive Bayes, SVM, Random Forest, etc. Eligibility Criteria: - BS or MS in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field with 2+ years of hands-on Analytics experience - Flexible Shifts Join our dynamic team at Synchrony to drive innovation and growth through data-driven strategies in the Data Analytics domain.,
