Job Description

As a Manager, Business Development Operations at Statistics & Data Corporation (SDC), your role involves working with various departments and clients to oversee processes and personnel responsible for preparing proposals, contracts, and agreements. You will be responsible for coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and professional communication with high attention to detail. Your primary responsibilities will include providing management oversight and training to the Business Development team, coordinating with different departments to prepare and communicate new business forecasts, and reviewing pricing and proposals with the Senior Vice President (SVP), Business Development. Key Responsibilities: - Provide management oversight and training to the Business Development team - Coordinate with various departments to prepare and communicate new business forecasts - Review pricing and proposals with the SVP, Business Development - Ensure all contracts, proposals, and opportunities are updated and maintained - Oversee the preparation of Confidential Disclosure Agreements (CDAs), Master Service Agreements (MSAs), and associated Work Orders - Develop and maintain Business Development Operations processes - Identify and resolve problems/issues that may impact winning new business - Ensure project scope, deliverables, and budgets are well coordinated - Coordinate with Accounting and operational departments to track billing milestones - Ensure quality of all Business Development Operations deliverables - Support continuous improvement initiatives and comply with data integrity & ethics requirements - Perform other assigned duties Qualifications Required: - Exceptional customer support skills - Strong understanding of contracts and contract management - Leadership and management abilities - Ability to motivate company personnel and meet project requirements within budget - Independent critical thinking and problem-solving skills - Familiarity with ICH Guidelines and Title 21 CFR - Excellent communication skills - Proficiency in MS Office suite and Salesforce.com - Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time As a candidate for this role, you are required to have a bachelor's degree, preferably in engineering, applied or life sciences, or business, along with at least four years of experience in business development, account management, contracts management, or purchasing in the clinical trial industry.
