Job Description: As an EY BOT Data Engineer, you will be responsible for writing ETL (Extract / Transform / Load) processes, designing database systems, and developing tools for real-time and offline analytic processing. Your role will involve troubleshooting software and processes for data consistency and integrity, integrating large-scale data from various sources for business partners to generate insights and make decisions. You will translate business specifications into design specifications and code, writing complex programs, ad hoc queries, and reports. It is important that all code is well-structured, includes sufficient documentation, and is easy to maintain and reuse. Key Responsibilities: - Writes ETL (Extract / Transform / Load) processes - Designs database systems - Develops tools for real-time and offline analytic processing - Troubleshoots software and processes for data consistency and integrity - Integrates large-scale data from various sources for business partners - Translates business specifications into design specifications and code - Writes complex programs, ad hoc queries, and reports - Partners with internal clients to understand business functions and informational needs - Leads all phases of solution development - Designs and conducts training sessions on tools and data sources used by the team and self-provisioners Qualifications: - Minimum of six years (6 to 9 years) in data engineering, data analytics, programming, database administration, or data management experience - Graduate degree (Bachelor's Degree, BCA, or Masters) or equivalent combination of training and experience Additional Details of the Company: EY exists to build a better working world, helping to create long-term value for clients, people, and society while building trust in the capital markets.
