As a Maintenance Engineer/Senior Engineer at Chakan Pune location in an Auto Component Manufacturing company specializing in Plastic and Rubber components, you will be responsible for managing the maintenance function of various equipment including Power Press, PLC, and other machinery. With a minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in maintenance, your role will involve ensuring the efficient operation of Press Machines, Ovens, Strech Bending Machines, Heat Bending equipment, Extrusion machines, PLC Programming, DA tape Assy Machine, Moulding machines, and utility systems. Your key responsibilities will include maintaining critical spares, training team members to enhance practices and reduce breakdowns, establishing and adhering to preventive maintenance schedules, and ensuring the availability of all utilities to minimize production downtime. You will be expected to monitor the production process, maintenance activities, and machine downtime, while also creating daily maintenance and breakdown reports to track performance. In this role, you will strive for zero breakdowns and 100% preventive maintenance of machines, ensuring zero reoccurrence of failures. Effective coordination and follow-up with external vendors and maintenance consultants will be essential, along with collaborating with the Process team for planning mechanical jobs. Additionally, you will execute mechanical activities within budgeted expenses, attend to breakdowns, diagnose faults, oversee equipment improvements, and manage time-critical repairs. You will report to the organization's top management on the effectiveness and suitability of the management system, confirm nonconformities, determine the disposition of nonconforming materials, and report on corrections and corrective actions taken at Management Review meetings. Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work both independently and within a team, excellent communication abilities, and a degree in Engineering or a related field are required for this role.,
